Canopy
The “canopy” on the sky is one of the official stars in Chinese astronomy. It is shaped like an umbrella and symbolizes both transcendence and refinement. Are we under the protection of the galaxy or are we one with them? Is it René Descartes’s philosophy “I think, therefore I am here” or Zhuangzhi’s “The heart is fast and forgetful, and there is no waiting”? Perhaps there will never be an answer.
