Agung Fitriana (born in Bandung, 1984) is an Indonesian painter and a member of the Abstrax group. A graduate of the Bandung Institute of Technology (Faculty of Art and Design, 2008), he has been actively engaged in the contemporary art scene for nearly two decades. His practice often explores the intersections of form, feeling, and interpretation, which he has presented through solo, duo, and numerous group exhibitions both in Indonesia and internationally.

His first solo exhibition, Crosstranslation (The Arya Seni Art Gallery, Singapore, 2010), established his presence in the Southeast Asian art scene. He has since held significant duo shows such as Visible Form of Feelings (Rachel Gallery at the National Gallery of Indonesia, 2018) and a follow-up exhibition at Scapeplus Gallery in Seoul (2019). Agung has also participated in many major group exhibitions, including Manifesto VIII: TRANSPOSISI at the National Gallery of Indonesia (2022), ArtStage Singapore (2011–2012), Korea International Art Fair (2010–2011), and multiple editions of Art Jakarta and Art Jakarta Gardens.

His continued participation in curated projects—such as Painting Matters (Bandung, 2023) and Chiasm (Langgeng Art Foundation, 2025)—reflects his sustained dialogue with contemporary painting and its evolving role in Indonesian and global contexts. Through his works, Agung Fitriana contributes to a dynamic discourse on painting today, merging personal sensibility with broader artistic explorations.
